This morning was pretty cold. So, just like any day that is cold, I put on my grey sweater, and grab my thin scarf, just is case it got a tad warm. So, after being trapped inside a classroom for more than 3 hours, I walk outside and there was sunlight shining down. I wasn't too happy after seeing that...oh well.

I've been very tired... well, technically I feel more emotionally and mentally drained, thanks to all the stupid things that were going on this weekend. Oh well..what can I do :\

I'm kind of sad that I didn't get to use this blog to my advantage.
I think this is what I get for having a livejournal too. (livejournal.com/tenor_saxy)
hahaha.
I guess I should start using this, slowly.
Not too many people know that I have a blogger...and my livejournal friends continue to expand (which is pretty funny. All I do is draw pictures on it now), so I guess this is a rather more personal matter? I don't know. oh well.
I guess I should say who I am. I am Kat. Formally known as Katrina Camille, but I don't think anyone really calls me by my full name (other than Katrina. that's fine...). I am a freshie in college! Haha, yeah. I'm short, and I like to take pictures. My height and my pain seems to be the core of every joke that my friends make, but I don't really mind, I guess. I play about 7 instruments (flute, tenor sax, alto sax, [hell if I wanted to, I could play bari sax], trumpet, french horn [not very well...], and oboe). Don't ask me why I am not going into music. I'm just not. Yes, I am a bit artistic. I paint, I draw, I color, I xerox (LOL its a joke). I mostly take pictures (digital and traditional black and white). I deal with people portraits, spontaneous moments and flowers. Yes, flowers. I like taking pictures of flowers. I used to take ballroom dancing. Leave me alone about it. Music? Jazzy, Pop, Rock, J-rock, alternative rock, hard rock, acoustics are pretty, classical (not the ones that go on forever...heaven forbid... although I am fan of Gershwin...), and a lot of other things. I'm all around I guess. Yeah, I'm a big fan of music. Well, I think I'm done about me.

Anyway, school has started and it is now on its way! Woot woot! No. Actually not really. It has been kind of tiring, and I must say, I am already developing bad habits. Ridiculous, I know. Believe me. Oh well. Classes I am taking? I thought you would never ask (lol, this is very sad...) Math 170 (Trig), English 1A Honors (Yay for Joshua Morris being in my class until winter! lol), Art 10 ab (Oh the fundamentals of art...), Architecture 150 A (drafting requires me to make up 4.5 hours in the studio. I don't think they're kidding...) and Archtecture 104 (at night. It's hard to stay awake. Luckily, I have a friend from Art 10 :D). Yeah. It is, a somewhat nice begining, I guess. I mean, if you think about it, this is an opputunity to start over! Make you new friends and such (JUST LIKE EFFING HIGH SCHOOL. OH WONDEREFUL. I HOPE THERE'S A MARCHING BAND. NOT. ) yeah. well, I'm not sure what else I should be talking about. I will be updating from time to time. Complaining from time to time. Yes. Bear with me.

As I said before, I take a lot of pictures. I don't know how I got myself hooked onto photography. I love it though. Really, I do. It is so much fun. I can't wait to minor in it. Hahaha (probably the easiest minor..). Anyway, a lot of the pictures I have taken are with my dad's old canon slr (i have to find the actual number for it). But yeah. When I mean, old, I mean OLD. The body of teh camera is metal, and it could put you in a coma if I threw it at you. Its a good camera. It has served me while I was in my photography class. haha. The following pictures have been developed in the dark room and taken by me. The shadow gram items are mine and the pinhole picture is my tenor saxophone (45 minutes to find out it came out blury. How disappointing).
comments: This was for the people and portraits project. I wanted to take a good picture of my friend angry because I loved the face that she made. It took a while to actually get the shot because she couldn't get mad. Thus, having to bring in the big guns and I had to call Fabian over to make fun of her. It was funny to see her suddenly get so mad. Never thought I would see the day where she could actually look intimidating.
So, meet Carl. ---> This also part of the people and people project. I caught him at a spontaneous moment while he was sleeping. No, I'm not a stalker. It's funny when he's asleep. Anyway, here he is. Sleeping. I took this during MTAP (Music Theory AP) while we didn't have to do anything [or we should've been doing something. I don't know it was very cold]. I guess this is how you would describe the typical MTAP student. <--- This is Steve. Another Portrait and People picture I turned in for the project. This one doesn't look as good because my scanner distorted the picture, which frustrated me a lot. Regardless of the distortion, this is probably my favorite picture. When Steve isn't smiling, he seems very serious. So, I guess that is why I asked him to be one of the people in my photography pictures. Heeh. He'll make a good model someday...not saying that he'll be become one, but you get what I mean. hahaa.

I think that is all i am going to post up for now.
For my digital and tradional pictures, check out my http://www.tricksturr.deviantart.com .
Thank you and good night!
